Breast Screening
It is important to know that the first time you have breast imaging, it is crucial to have a follow-up breast study after three months. The reason is, after three months have passed, your thermal imprint has become well defined. This gives you a stable thermal pattern that provides your clinical marker (just like a fingerprint). Once established, further imaging studies are taken only once a year.
*Your thermal imprint NEVER changes throughout your lifetime! Changes to physiology and developing disease are the only things that change a thermal imprint.
